ACLS algorithms and systematic approach (BLS & ACLS Surveys)
Recognition and management of cardiac arrest and peri-arrest conditions
Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation and treatment
Pharmacology of resuscitation (vasoactive medications)
Airway management and ventilation
Defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, and post–cardiac arrest care (including targeted temperature management)

Certification:
Upon successful completion of written and skills testing, students receive an American Heart Association ACLS Provider Course Completion Card, valid for 2 years.
