Pediatric assessment and systematic approach (BLS & PALS Surveys)
Recognition and management of respiratory emergencies and shock
Cardiac rhythm disturbances and treatment
Airway management and ventilation
Defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion
Pharmacologic interventions (vasoactive medications)

Upon successful completion of written and skills testing, students receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider Course Completion Card, valid for 2 years.
